About the NBTA
Neighbors watching out for neighbors since day one.
The New Boston Taxpayers’ Association was founded by residents who believe that an informed electorate is the best check on government spending. We are a nonpartisan, volunteer-run civic organization open to all New Boston residents who believe in fiscal discipline and accountable local government.
Our Mission
To promote fiscal responsibility, transparency, and civic engagement in the Town of New Boston, NH. We do this by:
- Researching and analyzing town and school budgets
- Sharing factual, nonpartisan information with voters
- Encouraging residents to attend Deliberative Session and vote on Election Day
- Asking tough questions at public meetings on behalf of taxpayers
How We Operate
The NBTA is entirely volunteer-driven. We have no paid staff and accept no money from political candidates or parties. Our only interest is making sure New Boston’s tax dollars are spent wisely and transparently.
